The First Day of the Rest of my Life

Starting this blog today to count down the six month descent into the big 4-0! Yesterday was my 'half birthday'... yes I am 39 and 1/2 (Thanking the Sweet Lord for the time he is giving me!)... I am worn out, and richly blessed, but not growing older gracefully.. AT ALL, my ML (thats my mum in law) suggested I go with her to the Clinique counter yesterday and 'do something about my skin'..   seriously???? We went to hubby's office Christmas party last night and my dear friend told my how great I looked... good thing she didn't see me in the shower an hour prior... THANK YOU VERY MUCH GRAVITY! So... today, I am running on about 4 hours of sleep, I headed to the Mega-low-mart to 'beat the crowd' at 8 o'clock and got home at 11!! (Seriously is there some kind of wrinkle in the time-space continuum in that place or WHAT?) So half my day is gone... I'm about as energetic as a slug... My PBG (precious baby girl) is like a rubber ball in a concrete room, I have 500 grocery items to shelve... or somewhere close to that, and I just ate a Nighthawk frozen dinner for lunch (GAG... but I had remembered those being SO good) and now if I can ever get out of the bathroom I will put away the empty Christmas boxes and rearrange the low-hanging ornaments on my child-rendered tree display. WHAT?  Are you judging me?? You know you do that too... come on now! Enough mindless upheaval (thats almost paradoxical, huh? if its so deep it has to be upheaved, then its hardly mindless...) Super Duper Hubby of the year will not be thrilled if I spend the rest of the day on my first post and my house continues to look like an episode of HOARDERS, so I must go.... what will tomorrow hold... I KNOW you can't wait to hear....    You may not know me and be curious as to my appearance, this is my daughters depiction... she was 3 at the time... but pretty accurate :)
